Why Start a Neighborhood Blog?
I've just recently moved to Potrero Hill, San Francisco. My previous/original home was Seattle - that's right, I'm a Seattle native - and I though it would be interesting to chronicle my discoveries of this neighborhood. After living in roughly the same place my whole life I'm branching out, and I find myself in a community that seems to be a bit... marginalized.
People often say, "Oh - where's that?" when I tell them where my place is. Then I take a morning walk to get coffee, or explore the park, and feel so fortunate to live here. Then I hear that someone might have been mugged at gunpoint nearby last night (not yet confirmed) - and I worry.
So I'm here to write about the good and the bad, complete with pictures, reviews, and honest thoughts about this little village-like community that is Potrero Hill - as well as the surrounding areas like the Dogpatch.
